- Bobby Heenan and Vince McMahon have not talked for several weeks about a prospective contract and Heenan is now reportedly toying with the idea of joining NWA-TNA for about a year.
- The current RAW writing team consists of Brian Gewirtz, Ed Koskey and Michael Hayes while the Smackdown! writing crew consists of David Lagana, Bruce Prichard, Dan Madigan and Dominick Pagliaro. Paul Heyman is not on the creative team, though he remains an advisor of sorts.
- Sting and Lex Luger's names have come up in WWE rumors lately. Sting, who in the past has balked at joining WWE, is said to be willing to make some appearances if they would be alongside Luger.
