After the changeover, JBL, not entering via limo, started Smackdown off with a promo against Batista before his music came on again and the limo came out. I was expecting Orlando Jordan and was pretty surprised to see the bWo come out. They had an exchange that set up JBL vs Blue Meanie for the show. Mostly ECW chants from the crowd with a few bWo chants. I'm sure most of the crowd didn't know what was going on or about the backstory between JBL & Meanie, so the segment got a mild reaction.
Eddie-Rey backstage promo was up next. Eddie wants Rey to be his partner, but Rey naturally tries to decline until Eddie brings up "their little secret". I'm already groaning of what this secret could potentially be.
The Blue Meanie pinned JBL after Batista ran in and gave a spinebuster to JBL and threw an out of it Meanie on top of JBL. Stevie Richards delivered a nasty chairshot to JBL that appeared to bust him open hardway.
MNM defeated Rey Mysterio and Eddie Guerrero to retain the tag titles when Nitro (?) pinned Rey. The main story during the match was Eddie walking off the apron and sitting out most of the match, forcing Rey to go at it alone. Rey nearly won singlehandedly, but Eddie attacked Rey and allowed MNM to finish him off. After the match, Eddie tries to get Rey to strike him, but reminds him of their little secret, then brings up Rey's son. Eddie forces Rey to open up the ropes for him on his exit.
Matt Morgan NC William Regal when the Mexicools make an appearance and squash Morgan with highspots topped off with a triple team baseball slide to force Morgan out of the ring. Regal never even entered the ring. The Mexicools cut a promo, most of which I didn't understand. The highlight was Juventud running down ethnicities then proceeding to pull his eyes into slits upon mentioning the Japanese. Great way to be racially sensitive, boys.
Undertaker squashes Daivari with a chokeslam and Tombstone, but the big thing is Hassan summoning 5 or 6 masked men that just kinda look like terrorists to destroy the Undertaker, beating him and choking him out with piano wire. Hassan adds on a camel clutch for extra measure, and if that wasn't enough, the masked terrorists lift Daivari up above their heads like a martyr and carry him to the back. I sincerely wish I was making this up.
Batista defeated Christian after a Batista Bomb. JBL and Orlando Jordan attempt to run in after the match but Batista fends them both off, delivering a Batista Bomb to OJ in the process. After the cameras stopped rolling, Batista posed for the crowd some more and seemed a bit moved by the crowd reaction.
Overall it was a pretty good show! I was suprised to see the BWO come out, that was defintily pretty cool, and the Hassan thing was absoutly horrible it was probley the worst part of the show. The HBK thing was also very shocking overall the supershow was really good!

The show starts off with JBL in the ring. He mentions how he got screwed last week by Teddy Long and how he should be the new Smackdown champion, but instead is now the #1 contender to Batista. JBL says this is a bigger screw job than Bret Hart in Montreal. JBL says he is deserving of the World title being that he was the longest reigning champion in Smackdown history, and at the Great American Bash he will regain what is rightfully his because he is a wrestling God. JBL's music then hits and his limo drives out from the back.
Once the limo pulls up, out comes none other than the blue World order, with Blue Meanie himself. Stevie Richards takes the mic in the isle and introduces the bWo to the crowd. Stevie introduces Nova/Simon Dean as "Co Secretary of Defense" Bash-Me, Stevie (with an afro wig) says he is The Chief of Staff, Blue-wheat, and then points to the Blue Meanie (complete with tie and kids cowboy hat) who is "JBL- John 'Blue' Layfield.
The real JBL then asks what they are doing there, and says they are nothing but pathetic beings pretending to be cool, and pretending to be wrestlers and they are embarrassing themselves. Stevie then says speaking of embarrassing themselves, JBL managed to a great job of it at the ECW One Night Stand PPV. JBL then went on to to insult the bWo, mainly Meanie calling him a b**ch, and then challenged him to a match later on in the night.
Meanie accepted and Richards then said in case we didn't know who they are, they would leave JBL something to remember them by. MeanIe then pulls out a can of spray paint and proceeds to paint the bWo logo on the hood of JBL's limo. Stevie then says incase anybody didn't know, "We are the Blue World Order, and we've got three words for you...we're taking over!" They then walk off as JBL stands in the ring staring at his limo.
Next we go to the back where Rey Mysterio is seen walking into Eddie's locker room. Rey confronts Eddie and asks him not to bring up "the secret." Eddie then says he has bigger things to worry about as tonight he's in a WWE Tag title match against MNM and is in need of a partner. Eddie then tells Rey that he will be the partner he chooses, and Rey refuses. Eddie says he's offended that Rey doesn't want to team with him, but that's fine if Rey doesn't want to, but that means he (Eddie) will just have to go out and tell everyone the truth. Rey tells Eddie not to go there and that he will team with him in the match.
Next segment shows Muhammed Hassan & Daivari in Teddy Long's office. Hassan tells Long that it should be him that gets the shot at Batista as he never really lost the six way match last week. Hassan says it's his duty to liberate the World title and bring it to someone from the Arab culture. Teddy then asks Hassan if he's such a tough guy then why did he run away from Undertaker last week. Hassan says he isn't afraid of Undertaker, which Long then announces that at The Great American Bash there will be a match pitting Hassan against The Undertaker for the #1 Contendership for the World title. This sends Daivari into one of his rants but then is cut off by Long. Teddy tells Daivari that if he feels that they are being treated unfairly then he will give them a fair shot tonight. Long then tells Daivari that he will be in one-on-one action tonight against no other than The Undertaker.
Match 1: Chris Benoit versus Booker T. for the #1 Contendership to the US Title
Match starts out with Booker and Benoit exchanging hammer locks. This match went kind of back and forth from there with both men getting the advantage in an exchange of holds and knife edge chops. Booker then got the slight advantage after a superplex from the top rope. Both men are down, Booker then makes it up by the count of eight followed by Benoit. Boooker then goes for the ax kick but misses allowing Benoit to land the triple German suplexes. Benoit is unable to follow up with a pin, both men then get to their feet as Booker goes for a clothesline but is caught by Benoit who grabs the arm and locks in the crossface. Booker tries to hold on and get to the ropes but can't and taps out.
Your winner and new #1 Contender for the US Title: Chris Benoit
Match 2: WWE Tag Team titles: MNM vs Eddie Guerrero & Rey Mysterio
Eddie starts the match out against Mercury. Eddie gets the advantage and takes over the match. He goes to make the tag to Rey but Mysterio refuses. Eddie then yells at Rey who then makes the tag. Rey is in and goes to work on Mercury. Rey lands a few moves before tagging in Eddie once again. Mercury is still unable to make the tag as Eddie then nails the "Tree Amigos" suplexes and follows it up with the frog splash. The ref counts one, two....then Eddie pulls up Mercury. Eddie says "no way" as Rey looks on mad at what Eddie just did. Eddie then tags in Rey, and tells him to make the cover. Rey then tries but Mercury manages to kick out. Rey nails a few moves and even the 619. Rey goes for the cover but Eddie runs in and pulls Rey off. Rey argues with Eddie which at this time allows Mercury to make the tag to Nitro. Eddie then goes and takes a seat at ringside and watches the match. Rey is eventually taken over by MNM. They work him over and go for the "Snapshot" but Rey manages to fend them off. Rey then makes it back to his feet and nails Nitro with a flying head scissors dropping him to the ropes allowing Rey to hit the 619 once again followed by a springboard leg drop. Rey goes for the cover but as the ref is about to count the three Eddie runs in and kicks Rey in the head. Eddie then holds his foot on Mysterio's neck, and tells MNM that Rey is all theirs and proceeds to lay on the top rope in the corner. Eddie watches as Rey is nailed with the "Snapshot" and then loses the match.
Your winners and still WWE Tag Team Champions: MNM.
Post match, Eddie gets on the mic and asks Rey what the matter is. Eddie then says Rey looks mad. Rey then turns his back and is about to leave but Eddie yells at him and tells him not to leave while he's talking. Eddie then tells Rey that he has to do what Eddie wants or Rey's son Dominic and the rest of the world will know their secret. Eddie then slaps Rey and tells him to hold the ropes open. Rey does as Eddie leaves.
Match 3: The Blue Meanie with Stevie Richards and Hollywood Nova versus JBL in a no DQ match.
The whole match consisted of JBL just dominating Meanie with his usual array of moves. At one point Richards and Nova tried to help out but to no avail. JBL then went outside the ring and got a chair. As JBL threw the chair into the ring Meanie went to grab it but JBL stopped him. At this point Richards got in the ring and grabbed the chair. JBL then turned around and was nailed in the head with a chair shot by Richards. JBL is now busted open. Orlando Jordan then runs in to help JBL and fights the bWo. As this is going on Batista then comes through the crowd and nails JBL with a spinebuster. Batista then grabs Meanie and places him on top of JBL and the ref makes the count for the one, two, and three.
Your winner: The Blue Meanie
Post match the bWo celebrates as Batista is shown in the aisle smiling. Next up we go to the back where we see Daivari getting ready for his match. Hassan tells him not to be nervous as he has a plan. Hassan then whispers his plan into the ear of Daivari who then looks relieved. We go to commercial where upon return we see a promo for "The Boogeyman."
Match 4: Daivari w/ Mohammad Hassan versus The Undertaker
This match was really short. Daivari was outside the ring at the start but was then grabbed by Hassan and thrown in the ring. Daivari lands at the feet of 'Taker, when he looks up he's met with 'Taker's hand around his throat. Undertaker then chokeslams Daivari and follows it up with a tombstone and the win. Undertaker then stares down Hassan who is in the aisle. Hassan then kneels as if in prayer, when all of a sudden five men dressed similar to Arab military men (dirt colored fatigues, black shirts, and black masks) came through the crowd and attacked Undertaker. After the beatdown all five men circled Undertaker and kneeled as is in prayer as Hassan locked in the camel clutch on the Undertaker. As Hassan eventually let go the five minions then picked up Daivari, who was still laid out, and carried him out over their head in a crucifixion type of way. (I will be surprised if this angle doesn't offend people, it's not as far out as the ECW crucifixion, but when you see it you'll understand what I mean. It was very "Taliban-ish")
We then go to the back where Steve Romero is interviewing Christian. Romero mentions then later tonight Christian will be facing Batista and asks him if he will win. Christian says of course he will. He is the only man to ever face Hogan, Shawn Michaels. John Cena, Undertaker, Booker T., JBL, and Chris Benoit in the matter if days. And is also the only man to main event both Raw and Smackdown in the same week. Christian says the main event is where he belongs and tonight he will prove it by beating Batista.
Next out is Matt Morgan. Ring announcer then says that due to a "blockbuster" trade after Smackdown last week, Matt Morgan will face the newest member of Smackdown, and out comes William Regal. As Regal is about halfway down the aisle the "Mexicools" make their way out on their customary lawn mowers. The Mexicools then proceed to triple team Morgan. Super Crazy beats Morgan down with a rake followed by a guillotine leg drop by Psicosis (with new Hurricane like hairdo) then a moonsault by Crazy. They then toss Morgan to the floor and Juvi then takes the mic. Juvi says for the Mexicans to revolt against the "gringos" just like they are. Each week they have been here they have been making an impact and will continue to every week to take out the "gringos." Juvi then says that they are the real deal and don't talk funny like Matt Morgan. Juvi then says to remember they are not Mexican, they are Mexicool and they leave.
Match 5: World Champion Batista versus Christian
Match starts out with Batista overpowering Captain Charisma. Christian tries everything he can to get the advantage but to no avail. The fight then spills to the outside as Christian tries to run from Batista. Christen tries to place the ring steps between him and Batista, but Batista then grabs them and tosses them aside. Batista goes after Christian but gets a drop-toe-hold face first into the steps. Christian then takes over nailing several moves but still unable to get the win. Christian then goes for a cross body but gets caught and planted on the mat by Batista. Both men make their way to their feet and Batista lands his spinebuster on Christian. This pumps up Batista as he pops to his feet and signals the "thumbs-down" for Christian and follows it up with the Batista-bomb and the win. As soon as the bell rings JBL and Orlando Jordan make their way to the ring. Batista sees them coming and meets them face to face. JBL then throws Jordan into Batista and runs out of the ring. Meanwhile Batista gives Jordan a spine buster and Batista-bomb. The show ends as Batista stares down JBL.
