Welcome aboard everyone. First off I'd like to thank everyone that's voted on the Velocity and Heat awards. The response has been phenomenal and there's still time to vote if you haven't done so already. The awards are situated in the Columns section. I'm looking forward to seeing the results of those when they are posted on Wednesday. Also so long Juventud. Well done for burning yet another bridge. Where he goes next is anyone's guess. The task in hand right now is Velocity so let's get the show rolling. We bein this week with a tag team affair.
The Dicks vs Scotty Charisma & Fred Sampson
The Dicks have lost their baby oil bottles but we still get the stripper schtick. There's Dick jokes and innuendos throughout the match by the commentators. Chad begins with a series of takedowns to Sampson before pushing his head into the mat. James with a kick and punch sends Sampson off the ropes but puts his head down allowing Sampson to boot and tag out. Charisma charges into a dropkick from James before the Dicks go downstairs with a double boot followed by a double short arm clothesline. Chad with a nearfall then holds Charisma for a James boot. James with a suplex, drops an elbow, nearfall. James holds Charisma for Chad boots, James clubs before Chad applies a standing reverse chinlock. Charisma edges to his corner so Chad clubs and knocks Sampson off the apron drawing him in and the Dicks take advantage as Chad whips Charisma into a clothesline from James. Chad re-applies the chinlock before the Dicks nail a double dropkick. Charisma rolls into a tag and Sampson charges the Dicks who duck and nail him with three double spinebusters with a nearfall in between. Charisma gets a double spinebuster before the Dicks deliver a double team facedrop to Sampson then Chad nails a guillotine legdrop from the top rope for the 1-2-3. Here Are Your Winners: THE DICKS. The Dicks gave the jobbers nothing. A good showcase though and Josh finishes by saying the Dicks are quickly penetrating the Tag Team division on SmackDown! and Velocity.
Jamie Noble vs Scotty 2 Hotty
The redneck messiah begins schooling Scotty with a single leg takedown for one and a hammerlock into a snapmare takedown for another one count. The crowd cheer for Scotty who ponders his next move. Noble with a knee to the gut forearms Scotty down. Scotty reverses off the ropes, Noble steps over, Scotty hits two hiptosses followed by a slam. Scotty with a punch, Noble reverses off the ropes throws Scotty through the ropes no Scotty hangs in the ropes and surprises Noble with more shots. Noble off the ropes counters a backbodydrop with a modified facebuster before driving Scotty shoulderfirst into the ringpost. Noble winds up Scotty's arm and attacks before pushing Scotty down and bringing his weight down onto the arm. Noble wraps the arm up in the corner and stretches at it while ripping at Scotty's face before nailing a dropkick to Scotty's back in the corner. Noble rolls Scotty to the mat by the arm in an armbar and gets a one count but keeps the hold locked in. A Scotty chant starts again as Noble misses a drop down onto the arm and Scotty recovers to hit an inverted atomic drop. Scotty runs the ropes but gets caught by a leg lariat and Noble scores a nearfall before trapping Scotty's arm on the mat with his knee and dropping a fist down on it. Noble ties Scotty's arm up behind his back, Scotty refuses to quit and tries to punch his way free. Scotty can't slam Noble so he sends him off the ropes but Noble shoulder tackles Scotty. Noble misses an elbowdrop, Scotty connects with a punch, Noble cuts off a whip attempt reels in Scotty for a boot and hits a northern lights suplex for one before rolling back and hooking in an armbar with both of his legs keeping Scotty canvas bound. Noble breaks as Scotty nears the ropes and boots Scotty who rolls to the apron. Noble stands on the ropes and tries to suplex Scotty back in but Scotty blocks then punches Noble away before driving his head into Noble's gut and vaulting back in over him. Scotty off the ropes connects with a flying forearm then hits Noble with a clothesline and backelbow. Scotty measures for a crescent kick, Noble catches it spins Scotty round who ducks a lunge and lands the kick at the second time of asking. Scotty covers but Noble drapes a boot on the bottom rope at two. Scotty with a small package for one. Scotty punches Noble in one corner before driving him into a second. Noble reverses an Irish whip, charges into a boot. Scotty goes for a bulldog off the ropes but Noble counters and catches Scotty and gets him on his shoulders then drops him across his knees with a double gutbuster before cinching in the dragon sleeper. Scotty is stranded and taps out. Steve calls it back and forth action but to me Noble was in control all match. A very nice technical showcase from the former ROH champion as he continues to make waves on Velocity. I'd like to see Noble and Kendrick go at it next. Funaki's probably next though. Bobby Lashley vs Havoc
Is it Lashley or Bobby Lashley? Lashley gets a small smoke with a bang pyro on his entrance. His opponent is the man who broke locker room etiquette and moved Teddy Long's belongings at these TV tapings and was swiftly booted out. We're reminded that Lashley is the first announced participant in the Royal Rumble. I hope we get some qualifiers. They are always fun to watch. Back to the match and Lashley shoves Havoc down into the corner twice before ramming his head into the turnbuckle a few times and Irish whipping him. Lashley misses a charge and Havoc gets some punches in before Lashley takes him down with an STO. Lashley sizes up Havoc before driving him into the corner and ramming his head into Havoc's gut a bit. Lashley tosses Havoc to the mat before stalking, charging in and taking him down with a big clothesline. Lashley picks up Havoc and hits a belly-to-back suplex before giving the sign and nailing the Dominator for the 1-2-3. Nice squash. Here is Your Winner: BOBBY LASHLEY.
Mexicools (Psicosis & Super Crazy) vs FBI (Nunzio & Vito)
The Mexicools come out on their lawnmowers sans Juventud. The FBI come out with a purpose as Vito shoves past the Mexicools to pose in the corner with Nunzio who then warms up by sparring with Vito. Vito begins with Psicosis and a small ECW chant breaks out which picks up. Vito with a side headlock, Vito off the ropes hits a shoulder tackle. Vito with a stepover, Psicosis leapfrogs then scores with a hiptoss and armdrag into an armbar. Psicosis winds up the arm and tags in Super Crazy who drops down onto Vito with an axe from the top rope. Crazy yanks at the arm, Vito knees the gut and tags in Nunzio who charges into an armdrag takedown. Crazy motions Psicosis in and Nunzio gets whipped off the ropes into a double team dropdown and Crazy hits a moonsault press in sync with Psicosis who drops a leg onto Nunzio and Crazy gets a nearfall which is broken up by a Vito boot. Crazy sends Nunzio off the ropes who makes a blind tag, Nunzio ducks Crazy and hangs onto the ropes and Crazy turns into a Vito punch that drops him. Vito pounds on Crazy's head before nailing a slam and a Vader Bomb from the top rope for a one count. Vito pounds on Crazy some more then tags out and boots Crazy off the ropes allowing Nunzio to hit a twisting neckbreaker for another nearfall which is broken up by Psicosis. Nunzio stomps Crazy before ramming his head into the mat and hitting a scoop slam then exposing his knee and dropping it onto Crazy's head. Nunzio with a rear naked choke on the mat, Crazy tries to elbow free but Nunzio clubs the back and tags Vito who headbutts the back. Vito goes for a slam but Crazy falls on top for a nearfall and Vito stays on the attack by pounding Crazy and wrenching away at his face/head. Vito slams Crazy lets out a little shuffle and drops a leg for another nearfall. Vito pounds on Crazy some more then throws him to the mat by the arm and tags in Nunzio who dropkicks Crazy in the face as Vito blocks Psicosis' path of entry. Nunzio with a two count applies a second rear naked choke, Crazy punches free, Vito goes to enter which draws Psicosis in but this distracts the referee and as he gets Psicosis out Vito enters and the FBI whip Crazy off the ropes with a double backbodydrop in mind. Crazy however boots Vito then Nunzio before delivering a Tornado DDT to Nunzio and Crazy dropkicks Vito down in the process. That two for the price of one move enables Crazy to make a tag despite Vito's efforts and Psicosis comes in and attacks the FBI with spinning heel kicks. Vito gets a backbodydrop, Nunzio receives a backelbow and is now in a seated position so Crazy runs in and snaps back on Nunzio's neck who falls back into Psicosis who lifts into a wheelbarrow position and the Mexicools drop him with a double team faceplant. Nice sequence of moves there. Psicosis covers 1-2-Vito breaks it up. Vito goes to shove Crazy outside but Crazy hangs on, pulls himself in quickly and from behind dropkicks Vito through the ropes (as he was stalking Psicosis). Crazy hits a pescado on Vito while back inside Nunzio boots Psicosis' gut. Nunzio goes for a slam, Psicosis slips behind goes for a hurricanrana no Nunzio tries to turn it into a tilt-a-whirl backbreaker but Psicosis rolls through hooking Nunzio's legs wait a minute 1-2-3 he's got him. Cool move, the finish came suddenly but another great match put on here between this foursome. The Mexicools rack up another victory as the FBI's hard luck continues. 3-0 Mexicools in teaming against the FBI. Oh well maybe Chuck Palumbo will rejoin the FBI when he re-signs.
