Speculation on WWE Title Match @ WrestleMania; AJ Styles vs. Shane McMahon
- Bryan Alvarez indicated on today's Wrestling Observer Live that the plan is still for Randy Orton to challenge Bray Wyatt for the WWE Title but it remains unclear exactly how the booking will get them there.
- Alvarez went onto speculate that what he could see happening is that in the AJ Styles vs. Luke Harper match, Styles will come out on top and get the supposed title match at WrestleMania but Orton will eventually have a change of heart, turn on Wyatt, and demand his shot instead as the Royal Rumble winner. Shane McMahon will need to intervene and rule that the Royal Rumble supersedes the battle royal winner which will then help the stage for Styles vs. Shane at WrestleMania as well.
