British model Louise Glover seems to be saying that she has signed on with WWE. She is 24 years old and was the first British model to be named "Model of the Year" in Playboy Special Editions magazine. She posted the following message on her MySpace page (myspace.com/louiseglovermodel):
It's true, I will be doing the TV show WWE Wrestling, Smack Down and RAW. I will be Wrestling with sexy strong women and acting in a ring with the big guys in front of a live audience for TV. WWE Wrestling association is internationally known, so I'm hoping you can all view the show from your homes. The biggest superstar Internationally recognized is MR. Hulk Hogen who I recently met up with in Miami, who gave me some great fitness training and nutrition tips. I'm going to be in Hawaii in July modeling my calendar and new bikini swim-wear label, it's all very exciting as you can imagine, this is something i've waited a lifetime for... In the mean time I'm now back in the London Until the end of July.
Furthermore, the above message was taken down within the last day or so. In a previous blog from about two weeks ago, she said, "I'm going back to L.A today, got my final interview with WWE wrestling association, so will let you know how I get on." So her contact with WWE appears to be legit.
Harry Smith has relocated to Florida Championship Wrestling, WWE's new developmental territory. The group plans on running a few shows soon, although it'll probably take at least the entire summer before they have things totally up and running.
The WSX contracts expired today, so everyone is a free agent. There are a few rumors going around that Matt Sydal will be going to WWE. They haven't been confirmed, but he'll likely get a few tryouts in the near future at least. Sydal is 5-7, and WWE usually only looks at wrestlers who are at least 6 feet tall.
