Randy Savage's name was brought up for the "McMahon Appreciation Show" on 6/11. Out of all the people suggested to appear on the show, he was the only person 100% nixed without even a discussion.
WWE.com's subsection for this Sunday's Vengeance pay-per-view is saying that WWE Tag Team champions Deuce & Domino will be defending their belts in an "open challenge." WWE sent out an e-mail this morning to its mailing list saying that only eight championship bouts would be taking place on the pay-per-view. Deuce & Domino's bout will now make nine.
The week before the "McMahon Appreciation Show," they wanted every perceived, real or storyline enemy of Vince McMahon, except Hulk Hogan (and Randy Savage if he's considered to be an enemy) to appear on the show. However, a lot more people than expected turned down appearing on the show, so it's possible that they reached out to Hogan at the last minute. In Mick Foley's promo during the show, he noted that Hogan turned down appearing on it.
