Rocky Romero recently spoke with Comedy Store Wrestling.
During the interview, Romero explained why WWE's Shinsuke Nakamura may be "the most successful Japanese wrestler in North America." Check out the comments from Rocky below:
“Nakamura is probably the most successful Japanese wrestler in North America, WWE specifically. Probably since Muta, even though Muta didn’t wrestle for WWE. Muta was super successful in WCW and NWA. I would say Nakamura’s probably the next [one or] probably even bigger in a way because the scale is bigger now. But they’ve barely scratched the surface of what they could do with him.”
Since making the move to WWE, Shinsuke Nakamura has held the NXT Championship, Intercontinental and United States Championships twice.
Nakamura is also a former SmackDown Tag Team Champion with Cesaro, and the winner of the 2018 Men's Royal Rumble.
