-- Another week of the Wednesday Night ratings "war" is in the books and the results bucked a recent trend that had seen Dynamite extend its viewership and ratings lead over NXT. The AEW show averaged 806,000 viewers yesterday, a significant fall from the 995,000 that tuned in a week prior while NXT jumped up to 766,000 viewers, a healthy increase from 659,000 on 12/9. In the coveted 18-49 demographic, Dynamite suffered another big drop falling to 0.32 (compared to 0.45 last week) for #3 on the night while NXT took in a modest increase from 0.17 to 0.19, placing it #34. NXT was also likely helped by a four-minute overrun that was calculated into both figures.
