WWE Legend John Cena Says He Got Into A Fist Fight With One Of His Brothers At His Other Brother’s Wedding

As previously reported, WWE legend John Cena was a guest on an episode of The Tonight Show With Jimmy Fallon, where the 16-time World Champion confirmed that the rumors of his WWE return are true, but he just does not know when, though it was rumored that his return will be on the July 16th WWE SmackDown episode.

In his appearance on the show, John Cena also revealed he got into a fist fight with his brother, Dan Cena, who is a police officer near Boston, when he attended the wedding of his brother Matt Cena back in the summer of 2009. John Cena said he paid for the drinks as a gift to his brother, but it did not turn out the way he wanted it to as they ultimately got the wedding to close down.

John Cena said:

“I think that’s something, kind of, we all have.” “Mine was my brother Matt’s wedding. I thought it would be a nice gesture to open the bar. Drinks are on me, that’s my gift to the bride and groom. Nobody would have to pay for anything.”

“So, I found out it was a mistake when my brother Dan and I got into a fistfight in the middle of the dance floor and closed the wedding down.” “You could tell, right then and there, who were guests, and who were a member of the Cena family, because the guests were like, ‘What are you gonna do to stop it?’ and the Cena family’s like, ‘No, no, let ’em figure it out. Let ’em do it.'”

John Cena last competed for the WWE at WrestleMania 36 in 2020 when he lost to "The Fiend" Bray Wyatt in a Firefly Funhouse Match. Aside from his rumored return on the July 16th WWE SmackDown episode, he is also rumored to challenge WWE Universal Champion "The Tribal Chief" Roman Reigns for Roman Reigns' WWE Universal Title at SummerSlam on August 21st. Cena has one older brother named Stephen, and three younger brothers named Matt, Dan, and Sean.
