-- WWE is getting ready to begin negotiating for its television rights to flagship programs, Raw and Smackdown, especially with the exclusive negotiating window for incumbent networks FOX and NBCU now expired. One of the possible new suitors for WWE programming is Disney and the WrestleVotes account recently tweeted that there is significant interest in a partnership with Disney from the WWE side and that internally, the company sees a potential partnership as a "win-win" situation if the media giant lands one of the shows.
Regarding the TV rights negotiations, there is big time interest from WWE in a Disney partnership. Not to say the other parties involved aren’t enticing, but Disney is viewed as a win win if that’s ultimately the decision.
